Science for kids Program

This program is organized once a year by the Calgary Chapter and aims to stimulate young kids to know more about pursuing a scientific career. The program will have the participation of scientists that work across STEM disciplines (exclusively immigrant or international master and Ph.D. students) that will give talks about science for young kids (grades 5-6) in schools and/or in non-for-profits organizations. Initially, the round of presentations will happen once a year across the 9 cities in Canada on February 11, when we celebrate the International Day of Women and Girl in Science.
